Now that we’ve gone over the benefits of the ingredients, let’s get to the heart of the matter: making soap for intimate hygiene.

Start by grating 100g of Marseille soap. Melt it over low heat with 30cl of water. Once the soap is completely melted, remove from the heat and add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix everything well until you obtain a smooth consistency. Then add 10 drops of lavender essential oil and 10 drops of tea tree essential oil. These two oils are known for their antibacterial and soothing properties. Let the mixture cool before pouring it into a soap mold. Let it harden for 24 hours before unmolding.

Use and storage of homemade intimate soap

Your intimate hygiene soap is now ready to use. But how do you use it correctly? And how do you store it so that it retains all its properties?

To use, simply lather the soap between your hands, then apply it to the previously wet intimate area. Rinse with clean water. It is recommended to use it once a day, during your shower.

For storage, your soap should be kept away from heat and humidity. You can put it in a soap box or soap dish that drains water well to prevent it from melting too quickly.
